I think it's a loss for society that this 'review' will get more hits than one which is well considered, well written and logical. You really have to question whether this guy has even played Reach; anyone can write a few vague sentences on a game and then state at the end that they disliked it, without having played it in the first place.
I guess congratulations are in order. After all, his site has probably culminated more hits with this than in its entire lifes...
All I'll say is that I feel incredibly sorry for those who deem this at all credible.
I think this goes a little beyond simply being a 'mistake', don't you? I'm not usually one for revenge, but this unborn kid is going to go through the rest of his life without a real father - not to mention that a wife has lost the husband she loved so dearly.
In all honesty, I don't care that it was pure stupidity which caused this to happen, rather than cruel intentions. Those people shall deserve everything they get.
... Are you kidding me?
I really liked the ODST live action trailer, when the troops dropped and were battling the Elites. Hopefully this next one is somewhat similar to that.
I want to know more about The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, not some children's game.
People seem to be forgetting that Killzone 2 plays like poo, and that Reach is likely to carry on the baton for Halo's superior gameplay.
Graphics schmaphics. This gen has brought out some real graphics whores.
I lol'ed.
It was that David Jaffa Cake guy.
I'd love for Unreal Engine to look like that.
lolololololololololoololololol ollololollolololollolol
PS3 sucks!!111111one111!!!!
Lol, trust this to be the hottest story on N4G - and trust all the pro-PS3 comments to get 50+ agrees each.
Pathetic. It's a piece of electronic equipment people; it doesn't have feelings. There's no need to jerk it off in an attempt to make it happy.
Are you even listening to yourself? It's pathetic.
You're arguing over and defending A PIECE OF ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. It doesn't have emotions you know; you're not making it happy by complimenting its exlusive titles. What I said earlier was in reference to the many people commenting who are trying to spin this piece of news in a negative manner. So the 360 will get this 'expansion' first - so what? You people are getting your knickers in a twist because of it, and it's a sad sig...
It's amusing how many people are saying that either:
a) The DLC will be meaningless/overpriced;
or b) It will be full of bugs/glithces, until the PS3 version of course
I wonder if the same things would be said if the PS3 version was getting this DLC first. I highly doubt it.
I also agree with the poster who said ODST might have acted as an experiment for Reach in terms of some possible gameplay additions. The idea of New Mombassa acting as a kinda 'mini-sandbox' in ODST is probably a significant feature - one that I suspect may be used in some form for Reach.
As for the story, IGN posted a pretty good analysis of the announcement trailer and what we may be seeing plot-wise. According to them, it sounds as though it may entail a second wave of Spart...
It's really strange. I mean, we know next to nothing about Reach - all we've seen is a small CG trailer - and yet, this is the most excited I've ever been about a Halo game. I have no reason to be, apart from the fact that the story of Reach - as told in The Fall of Reach - is supposedly very, very good.
I hope Bungie delivers as high as my expectations. The fact that they're focused on producing breathtaking visuals backed up by great technological is obviously a promising sig...
Do it! I'll watch.
*Grabs popcorn*
I didn't ask for extra butter! Crazy foooooooools!
I'm going to feel guilty buying the game today, having the Coral Sea map available but not contributing to it being unlocked in any way.
Maybe I should repent once I've purchased it... hmph.
... Me thinks so. I can't wait for some more L4D action - I still play the first one most days.
There are three homosexuals in the room who took offence to that.
